Jacob Walls is a London-based designer working across furniture, installation, and art objects. His practice produces sculptural systems that are not simply used, but encountered, objects that coexist with the body, reshape space, and heighten awareness of physical and emotional interaction.

With a background spanning fine art sculpture and furniture design, Walls brings a materially driven approach to each work, recent projects combine industrial foam, metal frameworks, and responsive textiles to construct adaptive forms. His material research is further informed by 82ArchiveStreet, through which ongoing engagement with technical garments and archival processes feeds directly into his experimental techniques and construction logic.

Largely drawing from protective structures found in nature such as shells, skins, and layered enclosures, these pieces operate as both functional objects and immersive environments.

Educated at Central Saint Martins (UAL), Camberwell College of Arts, (UAL) and Rycotewood Furniture Centre (Oxford), Walls’ practice sits between design, fashion, and fine art, exploring how objects can hold, resist, and respond, redefining the relationship between person, object, and space.
